Alice Arnold is a British broadcaster and journalist best known for her long career with BBC Radio 4, where she served as a trusted newsreader and presenter from 1994 to 2012. Before her broadcasting career, she trained at the Drama Studio Ealing and worked as an actress, with notable stage performances in Evita, Godspell, and The Tempest. She also performed in radio plays with the BBC Radio Drama Company and contributed to programs like Book at Bedtime and Poetry Please. After leaving Radio 4, she joined Bauer Media in 2015, hosting weekend breakfast shows on Mellow Magic and presenting the Olivier Awards.
Alice is also an avid golfer and continues to engage audiences with her passion for music and theatre through her Mellow Magic shows and the Magic Musicals and Theatre podcast.
In addition to her radio work, Alice regularly appears on Celebrity Gogglebox with her wife, Clare Balding, where they have become audience favourites since 2021.

There is little funding available for research into this relentless bone cancer mainly because it is relatively rare, occurring in only 1 in 800,000 of the population. Without a focused approach to raising money for research into chordoma, little will change quickly.
