The Future of Chordoma UK

At the recent meeting of the Trustees of Chordoma UK, we discussed the future direction of the charity and how we can best serve our community in the years ahead.

The Trustees remain fully committed to supporting all those whose lives are affected by chordoma through the provision of up-to-date information, peer support, education, and the advancement of research both in the UK and internationally.

As part of this commitment, we have agreed to develop a clear five-year strategy. An initial priority will be to review and enhance the information and resources available through the Chordoma UK website.

As the only UK charity dedicated exclusively to chordoma, we believe Chordoma UK should be the leading source of trusted information and support for patients, families, clinicians, and partner organisations. While we are proud of what has been achieved so far, we recognise that there is more we can do.

That is why we would like to hear from you.

What would you like Chordoma UK to focus on over the next five years? What services, resources, support, or activities would make the greatest difference to you and your family? How can we improve what we do and strengthen our impact across the chordoma community?

As members of this community, your views are important to us. All suggestions will be welcomed and treated in confidence.

Please send your thoughts and ideas to Gerald at gerald@chordoma-uk.org.

Together, we can help shape the future of Chordoma UK.

How your donation is spent

There is little funding available for research into this relentless bone cancer mainly because it is relatively rare, occurring in only 1 in 800,000 of the population. Without a focused approach to raising money for research into chordoma, little will change quickly.
