Clare Unwin Joins CUK / UCL Cancer Institute..

We are thrilled to announce Clare Unwin today joined the team as the UK's first Chordoma Patient and Bio Bank Coordinator. This appointment is a direct result of hard work and fundraising by the many supporters of Chordoma UK. Clare will be contacting all UK Chordoma Patients, those currently undergoing treatment and those new to the world of chordoma, taking blood samples and collecting tissue samples wherever possible,  liaising with researchers, clinicians and other health care professionals. Further detail including contact information to be made available shortly.

How your donation is spent

There is little funding available for research into this relentless bone cancer mainly because it is relatively rare, occurring in only 1 in 800,000 of the population. Without a focused approach to raising money for research into chordoma, little will change quickly.
