Promoting Body Confidence After Cancer

A research team at the University of Surrey is looking for young adults aged 18 to 39 who are living beyond cancer. The programme is built around self-compassion, social support, and physical activity. It is run by a specialist Physical Activity Trainer alongside a Clinical Psychologist. They're recruiting a small pilot group of 8 people who can attend 4 in-person sessions from 5 September to 17th October. Up to £200 travel reimbursement and £25 gift voucher.

How your donation is spent

There is little funding available for research into this relentless bone cancer mainly because it is relatively rare, occurring in only 1 in 800,000 of the population. Without a focused approach to raising money for research into chordoma, little will change quickly.
